Tulsa Botanic Garden will be offering an outdoor picnic for everyone this weekend as part of its 4th annual DIG: Day In the Garden celebration and preview of the new Children’s Discovery Garden.
DIG is an annual festivity that gives children the chance to spend their day around the garden and get close to Mother Nature and everything it offers. Children can decorate their own pots and plant plants in them to take home. Before the grand opening of the Children’s Discovery Garden on Sunday, May 15, children can also explore its 2-acre land.
The event is family-friendly with live musical entertainment and a magic show. Red Dirt Rangers will perform live music, and the magic show will be performed by CAPSTONE the Magician.
DIG will be held this Saturday, May 14, from 4pm to 8pm. Tickets are available at $60 for one adult or $100 for two adults. For members of the Tulsa Botanic Garden, ticket prices are $30 for one adult or $50 for two adults. Children are free. Each ticket includes drinks and a picnic dinner.
