U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Ricardo Barraza, 24, of Shafter, California, assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, based in Fort Lewis, Washington, died on March 18, 2006, in Ar Ramadi Iraq, when he came under small arms fire by enemy forces during combat operations. He is survived by his parents Francisco and Nina, his siblings Amanda, Rachel, Jamie, and Frankie, and his fiancee Maghan K. Harrington and her daughter Kayla.

CFV, we will be doing 3 Hero WODs this week leading up to Memorial Day and Memorial Day Murph. Being prior service and have lost friends while deployed I take these WODs seriously. It’s not that the workout is just meant to be hard and hurt, it’s a small tribute to this person. So when your tired and thinking of giving in push back even harder.
Memorial Day Monday the 25th, we will only have one class @ 9:00am and our WOD will be Murph.
